Thermostat disc used on Hired Hand Super Saver Heaters and others to shut off the gas in the space heater in case of an internal fire. We often find these jumpered but they are needed for safety. We know of a grower that had a heater catch on fire with this jumpered and only that fact that he was in the barn at the time prevented a barn fire.
